The top bar

The top bar sits above every chat. Its buttons work on the chat you are in, or open things for all your agents.

  1. The chat's name: which agent, or which thread, you are talking to now.
  2. New thread: start a separate conversation with this agent for a new task, like checking out one supplier. Each thread keeps its own history.
  3. Read aloud (speaker icon): click it and new replies are read out loud. Click it again to stop.
  4. Search (magnifier icon): jump to any chat, or search everything your agents have said. On the keyboard, Ctrl+K opens it (⌘K on a Mac).
  5. Needs you: questions from your agents, things that need your OK, and accounts they ask you to connect. The Tasks tab there shows what your agents are working on. See Needs you.
  6. Help: the help center, contact support, and Show me around to see the tour again.
  7. Live: open or close the Live panel on the right. The number on it counts the tabs open in Live. See The Live panel.

When Live is open and the window is narrow, the buttons shrink to icons only. They do the same things.
